Summary:
The Office Manager will work to lead and oversee the daily work of the office, to ensure quality client services, to support providers, and improve overall efficiency of the office.
Duties:
- This person will need to be well versed in all business matters and be a competent leader, able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates HDC's vision and culture.
- This position will be responsible for reception, admissions, and general clerical duties; with an emphasis on coordinating care between staff and clients, focusing on customer service.
- This position will hire, train, develop, evaluate, and supervise the office staff. They will work closely with Program Supervisors regarding budget, productivity, and maintaining a healthy, positive team atmosphere.
- Other general duties include data entry, ordering office supplies and tracking paperwork for programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- One-year supervisory experience. Three years experience in a health care office and/or related training.
- Moderate typing skills, experience with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, excellent customer skills, and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Personal aptitude and organization skills to perform as a supervisor and manager.
- Five years' experience working in a customer service capacity or three years as support staff in a mental health or health care setting.
- Experience with health insurance plans, prior authorizations and billing is helpful.
- Understanding of medical terminology and terminology related to a mental health.
